Empty times
A considerable number of bad behaviors have their origin in what I call "empty times".
A considerable number of bad behaviors have their origin in what I call "empty times".
1- Situations where the dog is left alone and seeks entertainment on its own. If these situations are perpetuated in time, we will find that we will have installed a habit that will damage the coexistence with our dog and even neighbors. Example: a dog that spends hours alone in the garden and develops the habit of barking or digging.
The dog that is exercised regularly will be able to have empty times because he will be relaxed.
2- When we are with our dog, in the education/training phase, we do not pay enough attention to him, which will cause him to develop undesirable behavior patterns. Examples: the dog pounces on other dogs/persons, digging in the sand of the beach, etc...
To avoid this type of behaviors we must anticipate them, for this, in the education/training phase we must focus all our attention on the dog.
